Tanah Karo | KABARBERANDA – Sekda Kab. Karo, Drs. Kamperas Terkelin Purba, M.SI Buka Secara Resmi Pelatihan Jurnalistik Kabupaten Karo Tahun 2021
Guna menjalin silahturahmi dan menambah wawasan para jurnalistik yang berada di Kabupaten Karo khususnya yang selama ini masuk dalam kemitraan Pemkab.Karo, maka jajaran Pemkab.Karo melalui Bagian Prokopim Setda Kabupaten Karo menggelar Pelatihan Jurnalistik pada Jumat 03 /12/2021 bertempat di Aula Kantor Bupati Karo, Jalan Jamin Ginting, Kabanjahe.
Acara Pelatihan dibuka oleh Bupati Karo, Cory S Sebayang yang diwakili oleh Sekda Kab.Karo, Drs. Kamperas Terkelin Purba, M.SI yang menyampaikan, Kemerdekaan Pers adalah salah satu wujud kedaulatan rakyat yang berdasarkan prinsip demokrasi, keadilan dan supremasi hukum. Kemerdekaan Pers harus memberikan manfaat sebesar – besarnya untuk rakyat, ujarnya singkat.
Kemudian berlanjut dengan paparan Sekda Kab.Karo yang menyampaikan Bentuk dan Proses wawancara : Wartawan bisa melakukan wawancara secara lisan dan tertulis, dan sebelum wawancara wartawan harus memahami kondisi disekelilingnya, thema wawancara harus ditentukan, susun kerangka berita dan yang terutama jaga etika wawancara, dengan memperkenalkan diri, sebutkan nama dan media, lalu ajukan pertanyaan yang relevan agar dimengerti oleh nara sumber. Selain itu, wartawan juga harus menghormati permintaan nara sumber, tutup Kamperas.
Sementara itu Kabag Prokopim Kab.Karo, F. Leonardo Surbakti, S.Stp disela – sela pelatihan menyampaikan, terimakasih atas kemitraan antara Pers dan Prokopim selama ini, dan saya meminta maaf bila selama ini ada kata – kata kurang berkenan bagi rekan – rekan. Dan ini mungkin terakhir kita berkumpul diakhir tahun 2021 ini karena tahun 2022 Jurnalis sudah dibawah naungan Infokom, tapi untuk pemberitaan nantinya tetap bisa berkoordinasi sama kita dari Prokopim.
Pesan saya lanjut Leo, hormatilah senior – senior kita, karena zaman dulu membuat suatu berita itu penuh perjuangan, dengan menulis dimesin ketik, tulisan tangan, mencetak photo dan mengirimkan berita melalui bus. Nah sekarang wartawan sudah sangat muda untuk membuat suatu berita, hanya hitungan menit suatu acara telah bisa dibaca dimedia online menjadi suatu berita, untuk itu mari kita saling menghargai, menghormati sesama kita, pesan Kabag Prokopim Kab.Karo. Dan sebelum menutup paparannya Leo menyempatkan membacakan sebuah puisi yang cukup menyentuh hati.
Sementara itu sebagai Nara Sumber, Liston Damanik memaparkan, ” Mengapa Jurnalis Harus Patuh Kode Etik “,..???
Jurnalis profesional : Jurnalis yang memahami tugasnya, memiliki keterampilan untuk melakukan reportase dan mengolah karya – karya jurnalis sesuai dengan nilai yang berlaku, miliki indenpendensi dari objek liputan dan keleluasaan, miliki hari nurani serta memegang teguh kode etik jurnalistik yang diatur oleh organisasi profesi yang diikutinya.
Lanjut Liston, Peranan Pers Besar sekali, apa saja,..? menciptakan, mengubah atau memperkuat nilai – nilai, membentuk persepsi atau citra, meningkatkan partisipasi dan demokratisasi, menghasilkan sikap dan prilaku tertentu, pembentuk agenda setting.
Kebebasan Pers Bukan Hanya Milik Insan Pers : Kemerdekaan Pers adalah salah satu wujud kedaulatan rakyat yang berdasarkan prinsip demokrasi, keadilan dan supremasi hukum.
Dan yang perlu kita waspadai yakni, Ancaman terhadap jurnalis dan kemerdekaan Pers dari Internal Pers, ini kadang terjadi karena wartawan yang tidak profesional ( tidak paham tehnik jurnalistik dan tidak mentaati kode etik jurnalistik ). Dan sering adanya penumpang gelap kemerdekaan pers ( jurnalis gadungan, bodrek, LSM berkedok pers )
Namun selama wartawan melakukan profesinya dengan benar, kita mempunyai ” Payung Hukum ” yakni pada Pasal 8 UU No. 40 tahun 1999 tentang UU Pers berbunyi ” Dalam melaksanakan profesinya wartawan mendapat perlindungan hukum,”.
Tambah Liston, akhir – akhir ini kita miris melihat perlakuan masyarakat, pejabat terhadap wartwan, seperti yang baru – baru ini terjadi di Jawa kasus Nurhadi yang ketika itu mau mewawancarai oknum pejabat, tapi malah dipukuli oleh beberapa oknum polisi. Sedangkan yang terjadi di Sumatera Utara sendiri, ada wartawan yang meninggal karena ditembak, wartawan disiram air keras dll.
Untuk itu diharapkan kita jangan membuat berita bohong, fitnah, tidak menyalahgunakan profesi dan tidak menerima suap, beritakan berita berimbang, tidak mencampurkan fakta dan opini yang menghakimi, serta menerapkan asas praduga tak bersalah, supaya kita jangan terjebak.
Bila kita mengshare berita di Media Sosial, sharelah berita yang utuh agar kita tidak terkena UU ITE, pesan Liston diakhir paparannya.
Diakhir acara Bupati Karo, Cory S Sebayang didampingi Wakil Bupati, Theopilus Ginting dan Kepala Bappeda, Jhonson Tarigan menyempatkan diri bertatap muka dan tanya jawab dengan para wartawan Tanah Karo yang mengikuti pelatihan Jurnalistik.
Pada kesempatan itu Bupati Karo nan cantik ini menanggapi permintaan wartawan agar anggaran buat wartawan bisa ditambah, beliau berkata akan dibicarakan dan diusahakan akan ditambah, kata Bupati disambut tepuk tangan para jurnalis.
Lanjut Bupati, Kami sama Pak Wakil baru 6 bulan menjabat, dan masalah jalan ke Liang Melas akan kita perbaiki dengan segera paling tidak diawal tahun 2022 sudah kita kerjakan, mengapa Liang Melas diutamakan, karena suami saya orang sana, selain itu saya melihat bila masyarakat sakit, Puskesmas belum ada, maka kita akan bangun Puskesmas. Demikian juga dengan Sekolah, sekarang telah kita bangun Sekolah SMP, karena sekolah ini sangat penting demi kemajuan generasi kita di Desa Liang Melas, saya Cory Sebayang fokus akan pembangunan di Tanah Karo, ungkap Cory.
Sedangkan Wakil Bupati Karo, menyampaikan, akan komitmen dengan yang dijanjikan karena pemerintah itu hadir untuk rakyat, ujarnya singkat. (Kemit)
